Family of CLHS graduate Steve Viger who recently earned a doctorate in Psychometric Research

Steven Viger member of the Central Lake Class of 1994 recently earned his Doctorate in Psychometric Research from Michigan State University.

Steve has worked for the Michigan Department of Education for the past fourteen years. Statistical analysis and research for MME data, as well as standardized test data are Steve’s area of expertise. Former Central Lake math/science teacher Dennis Richardson was not surprised to hear of Steve’s accomplishment. “Steve was always a bright math student with excellent insight," commented Richardson.

“As one of Steve’s former teachers and coaches it was evident to all here at CLPS that Steve had a lot of natural ability. It’s uplifting to see a former student achieve such a prestigious degree,” commented Quinn Barry.

Steve currently resides in Lansing with his wife Andrea, daughters, Kaitlyn,(15) Casey (7) and son Chase(4).

Central Lake Public Schools would like to congratulate Steven Viger on his accomplishments. What a thrill to share in the success of one of our fine graduates.
